Intaka has completed a few successful projects with Partners in Health (PIH), who contracted Intaka to design, manufacture, and supply of a PSA Oxygen Generator and cylinder filling station. Intaka recommended their GGS O60 capable of producing 19 m3/h coupled to a 10-cylinder oxygen cylinder filling station rated at 17.8m3/h.
The containerised GGS was delivered to the Chikwawa Hospital on the 12 July 2023 where it was discovered that the container had unfortunately been damaged during transport. As part of its ISO 9001 processes and procedures, Intaka raised a supplier quality alert and implemented corrective actions, where the container was returned to the factory and a task team was established to remedy the container to its original state.
The new containerised gas generation system was re-supplied to Chikwawa Hospital and commissioned on 16 November 2023.
