Intaka Technology Namibia has a Gas Generating System (GGS) on site at Onandjokwe which produces medical oxygen to the Hospital. The DOH contacted Intaka Technology Namibia to replace their old vacuum plant which was in a state of disrepair.
Intaka installed a new vacuum plant and 3 gas banks comprising of oxygen ( 2 x 8 manifold) , medical air ( 2 x 4 manifold) and nitrous oxide ( 2 x 2 manifold). All 3 gas banks were connected with 440 meters of medical gas pipeline to 4 Theatres, a Prem Ward and a High-Care Ward. Medical gas outlet points were also installed in each ward.
