Intaka Tech and its Mozambique partner MOAAR have successfully completed the medical gas pipeline installation at Maputo Maternity hospital.
The medical pipeline installation was completed on the Ground Floor and the Main Theatres where the pipeline was installed for a total of six medical gases, namely Oxygen, Vacuum, Nitrous Oxide, Carbon Dioxide, Low Pressure(4 bar) and High Pressure (7 bar) Surgical Air.
To ensure that the hospital has a constant supply of both low and high pressure medical air, a standalone Medical Air System was installed and successfully commissioned to supply the hospital’s needs, which includes with a cylinder manifold as a back-up. The system comes complete with a filtration system as used in Intaka’s Gas Generating Systems to ensure that the air supplied meets and exceeds the strict medical air requirements.
