On the 27th November Intaka embarked on a trip to Gabon to complete the mechanical and electrical installations on 3 plants supplied to the Gabonese government. Intaka’s 3 man team, consisting of Stefan Oosthuizen (HOD of Water), Ricardo Burns (Quality Control Manager) and Nazeem Rylands (Technician) travelled to the specified sites which are approximately 730km east of Libreville.
The Intaka Tech team was well received by all the site subcontractors and was well assisted by them. The Intaka Tech team spent 16 days to complete the mechanical and electrical installations.
The final phase of the installations, which is the commissioning of the plants, will take place early 2013 and the training of local staff will commence directly thereafter.
“Intaka Tech is dedicated to working with the Gabonese authorities to ensure a sustainable future by providing water treatment solutions accompanied by effective maintenance system and support” says Intaka Tech Chairman, Dr Savoi.
