Medical Air Systems
Our systems produce medical air from ambient air, where it is compressed and purified before being fed into the medical gas pipeline system (MGPS) as either medical air (400kPa) or Surgical Air (700kPa). This is achieved by passing the compressed air through an advanced air purification process comprising adsorption driers, advanced filtration processes, and includes redundancy features to ensure a safe and reliable continuity of supply.
Medical air is used predominately for patient treatment including ventilators and incubators and is also used during anaesthesia. Surgical air is typically used as a power source for driving pneumatic surgical tools in operating theatres.
