Oxygen compressors are a mechanical device that increases the pressure of oxygen gas under oil free conditions, enabling compressed oxygen to be stored in high-pressure cylinders. These compressors are crucial for ensuring that hospitals can provide oxygen in cylinders, typically used at oxygen back-up manifolds, emergency situations or for general patient transport and ambulatory needs.

Cylinder filling manifolds are designed for the efficient and safe filling of gas cylinders typically having water capacities from as small as 1.5-liter to larger 50 -liter cylinders. All cylinders are drawn down to vacuum prior to filling the cylinders with oxygen. Intaka typically installs manifolds with configurations of 1 to 10 cylinders.

Cylinder manifolds can serve as either primary, secondary and reserve supplies at small facilities however larger facilities with a PSA Oxygen Concentrator (as primary supply) only require a manifold for secondary and reserve oxygen supply. Manifolds are not limited to oxygen only but other gasses typically such as nitrous oxide, medical air and carbon dioxide etc. All manifolds are connected to a local and central alarm system.
