Intaka Tech installs medical gas piping systems (MGPS) to ISO/SANS 7396 which generally covers oxygen, nitrous oxide, medical air, and vacuum. Medical grade copper tubing is used during all installations, such as medical grade tubes to SANS1453.

Gas and Vacuum points (Terminal Units) are region specific and includes those to SANS1409 or BS 5682 etc. All medical gas pipeline systems include the necessary shut-off valves such as AVSU’s (Area Valve Service Units), source shut-off, branch shut-off, riser shut-off etc. Our AVSU’s are supplied standard with audio-visual alarms and the necessary emergency gas connection point/terminal unit.

Intaka Tech’s medical gas pipeline installers are registered with the Department of Labour and are certified by SAQCC Gas as authorised compressed gas practitioners ensuring specialist expertise in installation. Installation and certification of medical gas pipeline systems is completed as per the ISO/SANS 7396 standards for Medical Gas Pipeline Systems.
